Includes correspondence, records regarding the case of James Chandler and Ahimaaz C. Punderson (fugitives from justice in Connecticut on a charge of forgery affecting Benoni Grant), papers related to the General Assembly, military documents, financial documents (including a list of Huntington's taxable property in 1780), a some transcriptions. Born in Windham, Connecticut, Huntington was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, member and President of the Continental Congress, Justice of the Superior Court of Connecticut, and served as Governor of the state. He died in Norwich, Connecticut in 1796.
